Update: This is a confirmed bug by others, not related to OSTicketAwesome.

I just got it working by logging in to the Cpanel and moving the “attach” folder.

    Here is what happened:

The upload of the backup “attach” folder from Windows (using Filezilla) to the support directory. None of the files download.

I then tried to copy and paste from the support_old folder using the cpanel and got permission denied.

I then tried to move and from the support_old folder using the cpanel and it moved and everything worked.

What is the issue? I have a ton of old attachments from prior years I would like to put back online. I am guessing there is a permission issue.

I don’t think it is your fault, but you do have a zip inside a zip.

I navigated to the second zip only, I think it was the upload folder. I really didn’t think that would cause an issue.

Thank you for the quick reply. I had a feeling it was server related. I decided to put the original osticket back online and it worked. At that point I knew it was related to files and not the server. After wasting 6 hours trying to figure out why it wouldn’t work and multiple uploads, it turns out not all the files were extracted correctly from the awesome zip file. I was so upset that something so simple caused me a day of headache.  Again TY for the quick support.

Thank you for your help. I did try that with no luck and nothing is auto-assigned.

This is for E-mail notification of a new TASK created. I select the department support and nothing happens. (I do not assign agent) All the ticket notification works as expected.

    Hi Randy,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Are you still having this issue?

    YES

Did the issue start happening spontaneously, or after an upgrade, or…?

    After upgrade

Do you still have your original osTicket installation (e.g. /support-old/scp)? Do you get the same unexpected behavior there?

    no

Are there any relevant errors in your Apache logs?

    I am hosting with namecheap

I haven’t heard of osTicket Awesome ever causing this type of glitch, but if you provide me with more information I’ll try to think of things to suggest.

What kind of information? May I can try to reupload the the whole awesomeosticket install again or would that hurt something?
