When I’m in the admin section and navigating different settings. All the settings with a checkbox are unchecked visually. I tried clicking them. I can’t seem to get them to add a checkmark.

I have tried with different themes selected and they all perform the same way.

<p>Your permissions on the installed files are set wrong.  You need to verify the account you sign in with, also has access to modify the files.  If you are windows based, it is even more of a pain than apache.</p>
