Wanted to bump this as still good today in 2022. Only added the part in yellow at the end and it worked immediately.

+1 on this request, not sure why osTicket included this as a forced option in the first place. It appears to have some settings tied to this in
/scp/js/thread.jsBut the true/false settings at the top have no effect by my testing.

The last release was technically only officially for 1.15.4 and 1.15.5 was never officially supported by osTicketAwesome it seems. The last release was October of 2021…
The dev doesn’t seem very active lately either. Has me concerned about my purchase now.

Welp this doesn’t seem to be an osTicket Awesome issue. I just realized I should check against the native osTicket and it seems to be the same there. I’m only leaving this open if someone comes after and has the same question. I’ll be reaching out to osTicket to ask for more info.
