So… I contacted OST, and they said that since I was using a ‘modified version’ that I should revert to the original code. Second suggestion was to ask Mailjet why there is a relay error…

Neither suggestions particularly helpful: 

“First you are using a modified install. I would only recommend using core.

Secondly, the error is pretty clear: Relay access denied

You need to reach out to your mail provider to see why.

Cheers.”

I know the error is pretty clear… the question is why is OSTA sending out malformed domain and email information, and why would the relay access be denied (probably because of the malformed info… suggests a deeper issue to solve…?)

Either way, I am unable to use the system because of this.

I’m going to +1 on this, despite the time since the original post. The product obviously keeps getting better.

Initially I was hesitant, but I decided to ‘go for it’ and am not at all disappointed that I did. This has made a good ticket system into something very very useable and much better visually, and I am very keen to push my customers towards it. Previously, it was a means to an end, Now, with OSTA, it’s a site to be proud of.

I could not even get it to work initially, so you’ve gone a step further than I managed. However, I note from MS that they are removing some authentication protocols and it will affect IMAP:

They said not until October 2022, however they also say if they detect it is not being used fully, they will remove it earlier than that for some users – perhaps they’ve started removing it for you already?
