KeymasterWait. Since posting the above comment something struck me:
AUTHENTICATE failed. 113 consecutive errors.
That sounds like 113 consecutive attempts to access the IMAP server within a short period of time.
Does that make sense to you? Did you keep hammering the server with test emails? Or did you have dozens or perhaps hundreds of active agents and / or users generating emails at that time?
Because otherwise it almost sounds like it could be a security issue. Like a spam bot trying to use your installation, for example.

There isn’t anything about the email architecture in osTicket that has been modified by osTicket Awesome.
Having never used osTicket or osTicket Awesome with Office 365 or even IMAP myself, I don’t have any special insight to offer you.
Perhaps someone else reading this will have a suggestion for you.
But I suggest you start with this search:

KeymasterYou do understand that the issue has something to do with the Attachments on the Filesystem plugin, yes?
If I had a solution for you I would gladly offer it. But I don’t know what the problem is, and it is beyond the support that I can offer for osTicket Awesome.
Make sure you’ve installed the latest version of the plugin (osTicket Awesome should have the latest version, unless you copied it from somewhere else).
Make sure you’re running osTicket Awesome for osTicket 1.16.x make sure you’re also running PHP 8.0.x and not PHP 8.1.x or anything higher.
If you’re still having trouble I would suggest reporting your issue on the osTicket > Plugins Github page.

KeymasterI have to create invoices manually, and I try to do so once a month.
Admittedly sometimes it take me longer, in fact I’ve apparently gone as long as two months.
I sincerely apologize to the people who are frustrated by my delay.
I thought we have strict tax laws here in Canada. But if I make a purchase through PayPal, all I need to submit to the government is the PayPal transaction.
I simply cannot understand why my foreign customers (mostly in the EU) need to have a unique “invoice” provided to them. And often they’ll get really upset when it doesn’t have the correct information that is required to identify their business.
I can’t imagine how many people in the EU are sitting around worrying about these invoices, and how much manpower goes into generating them.
In any event, if someone is casually reading this thread they may get the impression that I neglected to send out invoices for almost an entire year. No, this thread is people who are venting their frustration over the course of the year, but no one waited longer than 2 months for an invoice at the very most.
I will try to do better!

KeymasterFor what it’s worth, I searched my email for your DB Error #1054 post. I receive email notifications for everything that is posted here, but I don’t have a record of that. I’m not sure what happened.
As it has been some time I assume you’ve managed to sort out this issue, so I will mark it as ‘Resolved’. But you can always write another message here if you’re still having trouble.

We’ve seen at least a couple issues solved in this forum by simply downgrading to PHP 8.0. I’m going to have to remember to suggest that right away when these oddball issues arise.
